lasteaiauudiseid

KINDERDANCE
Our Kinderdance teacher Kristina had the opportunity to travel to Uganda with her program at NYU in December.  She participated in dance performances, attended shows & learned African dance. She has been sharing her experiences with the children in class.  Last week she read a book about cranes authored & illustrated by a young girl in Uganda.  The children moved like cranes in class.  PSB followed up by walking by the Uganda House to see the crane on the flag.  This week she spoke about dancers who move with pots balanced on their heads.  The children had the opportunity to balance a basket on their heads.  Then they did a “freeze” dance with bean bags balanced on their heads!  She will share more photos & experiences next week.
