It would have been unthinkable in New York that the evening news do not tell you that the first snow storm would hit the town during the night. This is what happened in Tallinn - people wake up Friday morning to discover 20 cm of snow on the ground and wind gusts shaking the trees. Weather conditions have turned the roads into ice rinks, most cars still have summer tires. The town is paralyzed, everybody is late to work, traffic moves 20km/h, traffic accidents can be seen everywhere. Winter service vehicles are nowhere to be seen. No big deal. It is beautiful outside.
